Yesterday we took a mini road trip over to Winston and Roseburg, Oregon. After lunch and a walk through Roseburg, we headed over to Wildlife Safari in Winston. Wildlife Safari is a drive-through zoo where you stay in your car and the animals run wild through the park. The park is divided into sections representing all different areas of the world. We started in Africa where we saw wildebeasts, lions, zebras, giraffes, rhinos, cheetas, etc. Then in the Americas we saw grizzly bears, elk, black bears, turkeys and more. We also saw Siberian Tigers, hippos, aligators and much more. A fun trip, maybe enjoyed a little more by Mom and Dad than by Fisher :) (He was much more excited about getting to sit in the front seat of the car and push all of the buttons he could find up there than watching what was happening outside of the window). Here are a few pictures from the trip.
"Fisher, this is Ostrich."
"Ostrich, this is Fisher"
(I think the Ostrich experience was a little too close of an encounter for Fisher)

Walking around the Safari Park.
Our little Monkey.
Hanging out the window to see all of the animals.
(Sorry the car was so dirty)
Giraffes right by the car!! I also got another picture of two giraffes that were, let's say, spending some "quality time" together. But, I didn't feel it was Blog appropriate so, you won't find it posted here.
