We've arrived in Coos Bay--our new home for the next four years. We were very sad to leave our home in Newport but, our new place in Coos Bay is starting to feel more and more like home with each box unpacked.

Nana & Papa came to visit today and we spent the afternoon walking around Shore Acres Park. What a gorgeous place! Sprawling lawns, beautiful flowers and incredible views of the coast--such a great place for an afternoon walk. Fisher had a blast running around the gardens--we're already looking forward to going back again!

Turns out Coos Bay is home to these GIANT beetle things. This guy is about an inch and a half long and a half inch wide. Oh God......I can't handle it. Looks like Fisher and I will be staying indoors for the next four years.
