Such a sophisticated two year old, I am. While Mom & Dad clean, I like to kick back in my big leather chair and watch them work...maybe catch up on a little reading while I'm at it.
Welcome to the Wheatley family blog! Be sure to check in often to see pictures of Fisher and hear all about bringing up our mini-Wheats.

Birthday Cake Binge
I'm two! (But don't tell anyone--if anyone asks, I'm still one--that's what I keep telling everyone). Uncle & Auntie came down from Lincoln City last night to celebrate with us--mom made pizzas on the grill (my favorite!) and then after my bath, I got to dive into my birthday cake! Yum, yum, yum!
Ready to dig in!

Just a little test of the frosting...
Maybe one more test...
Dad helped me blow out the candles.
Mmmm...frosting.
More frosting...

Hitting the sugar wall.

Must....keep....eating.....

Thank you GiGi Moe for my Moose backpack filled with all sorts of goodies!

Happy Birthday, Fisher!
Happy, happy second birthday to my absolutely wonderful, completely adorable, charming, smart, overwhelmingly lovable baby boy. While you are already denying your advanced age of two and are adamantly insisting you are still one, I hope you enjoy this day and are blessed with many, many more birthdays to come. You are the reason I live and breathe and the absolute light of my life. Thank you for being my baby.

Whiskey Run
Sunny skies means a trip to the beach! We drove about 30 minutes south to a beach just north of Bandon called Whiskey Run shortly after finishing breakfast this morning. I was so excited for some beach time! Like a puppy whining in the backseat, I called out "Beach!" repeatedly throughout the entire drive there (I didn't want Mom & Dad to forget where we were going or get distracted from the task at hand). This couldn't have been a better morning.
Strike a pose.
Beach treasure!
SUPERDAD!

A Break In The Rain
Finally, a little break in the rain! When we saw we had a window, Mom & Dad rushed me outside on a little adventure to Simpson Park in North Bend. We got there just before dark so there wasn't much opportunity for Mom to get too carried away with her camera but, she did manage to sneek in a couple of shots.
Really, Dad, I got this. Go stand over there.

This isn't as fun as I thought it was going to be.
