Camping is my new favorite part of life. You're outside all the time, you can get completely filthy and that's OK, you get to play in a tent AND (everyone already knows this one, but) all food tastes better when you're camping.
We camped at Lake Billychinook this past weekend with Uncle Ryan and Auntie Diana. Since Mom & Dad drove Grandma & Grandpa's camper van over and my car seat doesn't fit in there, I got to ride over with my Aunt and Uncle. They are so much more fun to ride with than Mom & Dad. I had a blast! I tried my best to keep my fellow road-warriors entertained with interesting banter (or "sporadic outbursts of Touretts" as Uncle Ryan calls it) and they kept the raisins and Cheerios flowing--we were a good team.
The drive over was a great start to the trip but then Dad put up the tent and HELLO!!! COOLEST THING EVER!! I ran around in that thing forever--LOVED IT. Mom and Dad call it my new babysitter.
I learned a lot of new words on this trip. I can pretty much repeat anything you say so, you better watch your tongue around me. In the past few days I've become pretty comfortable with saying 'Bar-B-Que', 'Peak-A-Boo' and any other three syllable words that sound like those. I can kinda get 'Auntie' and 'Uncle' out but, it's still a work in progress. I've thrown 'Boat' and 'Bird' out from time to time as well as a handful of others. You never know when I'll bust out a new word--if I like the way it sounds, I might just repeat it.
Here are a few photos of our camping trip.
Peak-A-Boo.
Crazy Face.
Can you believe the life jacket they put on me. So embarrassing.

Me & My #1 Dad.
I was so tired at this point and completely deflated due to the hideous life jacket I was forced to wear while on the boat. Here I am sitting like a wet noodle on Mom's lap, while she methodically deposits Cheerios into my mouth to keep me happy.
That's right. I'm driving the boat.
Watch out for logs!
Dad caught a fish that had a live crawdad in its mouth---COOL.
Getting my sea legs...or lake legs in this case.

Analyzing High Desert Dirt.
Hey Grandpa! Mom let me drive the van. Don't worry, we didn't hit anything too big.
Honk Honk.
OK, so, here are a few pictures taken this afternoon at the beach. I've figured out that if I scream enough, Mom and Dad will take me outside. I really turned up the heat on a tantrum today and voila!--next thing I know, we're at the beach! Cha-ching!
Can you dig it?
Sandy Boy.
