The rain took a little break yesterday and gave the sun a chance to peak out--finally! We were ready for some fresh air. Dad came home early from work and we headed down to the beach to chase the seagulls. I made sure to make up for some lost time and got as dirty as possible, as quick as possible--digging in the sand, eating sand, crawling through wet sand and smashing the sea foam in my hands. Mom doesn't mind too much--she says it's good for me (Hoo-ray to that! I love it!).
On our way home, we picked up some plants and I got to try my hand at a little gardening. I love digging in the dirt, moving clumps of soil from one pot to the next, and the wheelbarrow! Have you ever seen one of these things? They're amazing! First I had to inspect all of the moving parts to make sure it was safe for use and then it was time to get down to work--I'd throw everything I could in, then I would take it out, then put it in, then take it out, then put it in, then take it out, then put it in.....
Unfortunately, I didn't get to drive the thing--a little too heavy for me still.
