Little Green Thumb

Today was a big day for yard work. I had a big crew working for me--Uncle Ryan, Auntie Diana, Papa, Mom and Dad were all hard at work. Turned out to be a great day though--we got trees planted, barkdust spread all around, weeds pulled, new plants put in......busy day! Check out the new hat that Grandma got for me--made me feel very official.

Wedding Time!

Uncle Ryan and Auntie Diana were married this past weekend. Weddings are serious business. I was charged with the duty of being the ring bearer (although I had no interest in the job and required me to walk directly down an aisle, no stopping to pick anything up, no eating anything--just walk a straight line in front of a bunch of people--BORING!). Thankfully, my friend CJ was there to help with the duties. I put him in charge of the pillow, and as soon as I made my way down the aisle, I was outta there!

Stop for a quick photo at the wedding--as soon as this was taken,
I took off into the field to do some exploring.

Pictures From Today

We had a fun day today. Here are a few pics of me and my partner in crime (a.k.a. Mom).

We went for a walk on the beach with Aunt Diana. Mom & Aunt Diana just wanted to walk and walk. I say, "Stop! Take it easy! Taste some sand!"

"What's that?"

"Hello" (Playing phone with a rock--no one was there)

Later that day, when I was REALLY TIRED, Mom decided to get goofey and have a little photo shoot. Whatever.....I was not enthused.

Honk honk honk.

I feel about as excited as I look in this picture.

I'm not enjoying myself!!!

SUN!

The rain took a little break yesterday and gave the sun a chance to peak out--finally! We were ready for some fresh air. Dad came home early from work and we headed down to the beach to chase the seagulls. I made sure to make up for some lost time and got as dirty as possible, as quick as possible--digging in the sand, eating sand, crawling through wet sand and smashing the sea foam in my hands. Mom doesn't mind too much--she says it's good for me (Hoo-ray to that! I love it!).

On our way home, we picked up some plants and I got to try my hand at a little gardening. I love digging in the dirt, moving clumps of soil from one pot to the next, and the wheelbarrow! Have you ever seen one of these things? They're amazing! First I had to inspect all of the moving parts to make sure it was safe for use and then it was time to get down to work--I'd throw everything I could in, then I would take it out, then put it in, then take it out, then put it in, then take it out, then put it in.....

Unfortunately, I didn't get to drive the thing--a little too heavy for me still.

Just A Few Pictures

With all the stormy weather we've been having, Mom and I have been stuck inside most days so, we don't have any new adventures to report on. We're both going a little stir crazy and hope spring comes soon--WE ARE READY!

Here are a few pictures to tide you over until we have something exciting to talk about...
